The house was built in 1907 by Doctor Hurbert Tomlin for his bride Bessie Baker of the Baker family who were the original founders of Wildwood. It was owned by the family until the 1970's. The Baker family lived on Atlantic ave just a block south of the Tomlin House their house still stands and is owned by the wildwood civic society. Our house is across the street from Saint Ann's Catholic church whereby the lovely sounds of the church bells can be heard through out the area.
Suite 1 is decorated in antique furnishings,with lace curtains on the 5 large windows also has a pull out sofa bed to accommodate children or extra guests. Also has refrig, table & chairs, and lovely private bath.
Suite 2 has queen bed, fireplace, extra room with bunkbeds to accommodate children providing the security of being in the same room, yet affording privacy as the bunkbed area is separate from the main suite. This suite also has a refrig, table & chairs and a private bath.
Suite 3 is decorated with lovely lace curtains and offers a cozy room with table & chairs,refrig, and private bath. All suites are air cond. & heated. They share a common sitting area outside the room as well as outside the house.
All the suites have use of a a centrally located kitchen area steps from all suites. We offer daily housekeeping service.
